Everything you need to know about Mera Peak climbing
Mera Peak is one of the most popular trekking peaks in Nepal, situated in the Hinku valley of the Solukhumbu district. It boasts three summits: Mera North (6,476m), Mera Central (6,461m) and Mera South (6,065). Among these, Mera Central is the most frequently climbed.
Mera Peak Climbing Trek does not require technical climbing compared to other peaks. However, the views it offers are unparalleled. No other trekking peak provides such stunning views as Mera Peak does. It offers stunning panoramic views that include Mt. Everest (8,848.86m), Mt. Kanchanjanga (8,586m), Lhotse (8,516m), Mt. The exception is one night at Mera High Camp, where we stay in tented accommodation.
Hong long does it take to complete the trek?
It takes 14 to 24 days, depending on the specific route or itinerary chosen. You can either return after summiting Mera Peak or continue the journey beyond Mera Peak and connect to the Everest Region through the Hongu Valley, which was first explored by Sir Edmund Hillary in 1952.
